On Monday December 16th Christine, Erin and Mackenzie volunteered at Open Door Ministry in Royersford.
We closed the office early and kicked off our time volunteering by packaging apples, sweet potatoes, asparagus and squash. After packaging the fruits and veggies we shuffled items on shelves to be sure everything was fresh and ready to eat. We finished the day by sorting canned goods and checking expiration dates.
During our Neighbor Helping Neighbors food drive, the DeStefano Agency was a drop off location to collect items to take to the Open Door Ministry. It was great to see how the collection of goods help those in need in our community.
Here at the DeStefano Agency we love to give back to the local community.
